American Pie: Band Camp

Have you ever watched a movie knowing full well that it's probably going to an abomination, and yet it turns out worse than you could possibly imagine? This is that movie. My friend downloaded this after I told him how wack it was and instant messaged me with the following:

"Dude you were right about this American Pie flick. I'm calling sbc and asking them to credit my account for the wasted bandwidth"

You know a movie is bad when an illegal downloader wants a bandwidth refund. Hopefully some sucker on eBay will buy it.

    But the big question is:

What possessed YOU to watch it?!!

I had a free copy and I gave it a chance. Sometimes bad movies can be entertaining as well.

Also, another movie to avoid is "Puddle Cruiser" by the dudes behind "Super Troopers" and "Club Dread". I turned it off after 45 minutes of pain. It didn't even have t&a like Band Camp to justify finishing it. I'm still not sure if either of these are worse than "The Pefect Man" though. The horror.....

    Ah. Too bad.

You know, the first one wasn't so bad. That's the shit of it. Just did a post a bit ago on how an unworthy sequel can despoil the memory of a fine original film. damn.

I am waiting for Howard Stern's remake of Porkys...

I'm sick of Stern saying he's douing movies. He takes FOREVER. He's been saying Porky's was being written now for at least 2-3 years I think, I'm sure I heard it on hsi show that long ago. Friggin WRITE it, it's can be that hard, man! Love to see it, I agree, but c'mon!

Yeah, Band Camp looked horrible. And why? I mean, the 1st 3 weren't great, and they got worse as they went (The Wedding one had a few moments of humor) but at least they all did great at the box office, this Band Camp crap just sunk them. I hope Eugene Levy got paid well.

I agree about Porky's. I think it'll come out right about the same time Guns and Roses reunites and drops "Chinese Democracy". Don't hold your breath.

Also, I think Eugene Levy is officially done. He hasn't been funny since the first American Pie. He was horrible in "Bringing Down The House", "The Man", "Band Camp", and he probably sucks in Cheaper By The Dozen 2 as well.

Oh,yeah, I forgot about The Man. What a "high concept." You know some agents had a brainstorm and sold the idea to a studio - 4 years ago when they were both making better movies.

Actually, it's been a LONG time since Jackson's done something decent, which sucks, because he can be AMAZING. Levy can be funny, but it's usually in the Christopher Guest Movies.
